Nèmotgèm Se (/nɛm/ /ˈotgɛm/ [son] [species]) is a subtropical Town located in the Weian Region of the Tetbur Commune.
The name Nèmotgèm Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Nèmotgèm Se was founded by Horxohz Nanney, who was culturaly Tauric.
Climate
Nèmotgèm Se has a yearly average temperature of 15°C (59°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a cool 19°C (66°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 12°C (53°F). Nèmotgèm Se receives an average of 240 cm/y (94 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Nèmotgèm Se covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1066 m (3497 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Nèmotgèm Se was founded durring the early 15th century in fall of the year 1429, by Horxohz Nanney. The establishment of Nèmotgèm Se was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Horxohz Nanney struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Nèmotgèm Se as a prison colony.
Nèmotgèm Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nèmotgèm Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Nèmotgèm Se is buildings are arranged within a network of broad gravel streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. The town's timber-based walls are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.
A look around Nèmotgèm Se shows Nèmotgèm Se is little more than a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is.

Cultural Notes
While Nèmotgèm Se has a public leader, the real authority is hidden from outsiders. This ruler may draw their authority from rationales unacceptable to outsiders, they may have cowed the public authority into obedience, or they may have a mutually beneficial private arrangement with the official ruler.
Nèmotgèm Se's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by order, symmetry, formal design, grandiosity, and elaborate ornamentation. Architectural characteristics include balustrades, balconies, columns, cornices, pilasters, and triangular pediments. Stone exteriors are massive and grandiose in their symmetry; interiors are typically polished and lavishly decorated with sculptures, swags, medallions, flowers, and shields. Interiors will often have a grand stairway and opulent ballroom..
